Living Loved: Part 2

After I wrote my last post on living loved, I realized I left out something huge!

To live loved....you MUST see yourself AND others the way that God sees you.  And that is through eyes of love! We often times look in the mirror and notice what we don't like about ourselves.

1. God does not judge us by our appearances. "But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
2. We were fearfully and wonderfully formed in God's image, so we should never hate on outward appearances, anyway!
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
 your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." Genesis 1:27

Consider how differently your self-esteem would be if you saw all the beautiful things in yourself that God sees.  Now consider how much you could change someone's day or even their own outlook on themselves when you tell others what is beautiful about them.  You may be the closest thing to a Bible someone ever "reads" so how wonderful it is to show someone love (especially when they don't deserve it) simply because that's what God does for you every single day!

Living loved means resting in the peace that comes only by being loved by God and showing others that love!

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

Bless and be blessed!
